Our funeral home has been refurbished to allow us to conduct funeral services of the highest standard. It is equipped with modern facilities, and designed with your comfort in mind. We have three chapels of rest, where you are welcome to spend time with your loved one before their funeral.

The Attended Funeral
Our Attended Funeral includes care of your loved one, a Park Coffin, a service at the place of committal which can be personalised as required for your loved one, followed by a burial or cremation.

You don't have to make an appointment at our funeral homes. However, doing so will ensure that someone can be available to cater to your needs. When arranging a funeral, our Funeral Directors are happy to visit you in your own home, if required.
Third party funeral costs are additional charges which we will manage for you and attach to your single invoice. Get in touch with us to confirm costs and plan a funeral to fit your budget.
If you choose to arrange the funeral with us, you will be given the option of a complimentary Funeral Notice. We will set it up for you using the details discussed during the arrangements. All we need is an email address.
Dignity Funeral Plans let you pay for your funeral in advance and at today's price. It's a way of taking control of the unexpected, setting out the arrangements and limiting the costs by paying for the services included in the funeral plan upfront.
We are a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and as such we abide by The Funeral Director Code. We also have a legal obligation to try and ensure the person who is arranging a funeral has the right to do so, or has permission from those who do.
If you are aware that someone has been appointed as the administrator, you should only arrange the funeral with this person's agreement.
If there is no Will or Letters of Administration, then the responsibility would pass to the next of kin.
A Memorial is a way of creating a lasting memory to help remember a loved one.
Dignity has been established for over 200 years and is one of the UK's leading providers of Funerals and with an 'Excellent' Trustpilot rating (02/24). We are proud to help our customers every year with a diverse range of Memorial products and services to help remember their loved ones.
We offer a wide range of products – from traditional headstones, kerb sets, urns and benches to remembrance trees, plaques and vases. From 9 September 2024, there will no longer be a doctor's fee in England and Wales when arranging a funeral. This is because from this date, all deaths in England and Wales will be independently viewed, either by a relevant coroner or by a Medical Examiner and the cost will be met by the NHS.
A Medical Examiner is a specifically trained independent senior doctor who will scrutinise all deaths across a local area that do not fall under the coroner's jurisdiction. By providing a greater level of scrutiny over the cause of deaths; it is hoped that the introduction of Medical Examiners will make it less likely that unnatural causes of death will go unnoticed; that the number of deaths unnecessarily referred to the coroner will be reduced and that national data about causes of death will be captured with greater accuracy.
Medical Examiners, or Medical Examiner Officers, will also be available to meet with families, or their representatives, if they wish to discuss the cause of death.

When my Mam passed away in January, I knew immediately who I wanted to help plan and prepare her funeral.
I had briefly met Kevin in November where he also helped my family with my brother in laws funeral.
What can I say..Kevin’s compassion, kindness and support was absolutely incredible.
He not only planned Mam’s service, but made it the most personal, beautiful send off adding things that I wouldn’t have even thought of..like having my Labrador ( who was a special dog to Mam) walk alongside him in front of Mam, from leaving our home, and again arriving at the crematorium.
Taking us to the crematorium passed a favourite coffee place where we took Mam and our dog every Tuesday ❤️
Kevin took time to make sure my 9 year old grandson felt included as his uncles, his Dad and his Grandad carried Mam in.
Kevin asked my grandson to stand with him, explaining that they would bow their heads in respect before walking into the crem side by side.
Receiving this photo from Kevin today, gave those of us travelling behind in the car, the image of Kevin honouring my Mam on her final journey it is breathtakingly beautiful and something we would have probably never seen, had Kevin not suggested Toula my Labrador being a part of it.

We contacted Derek Moss to arrange the funeral arrangements for our late mother and very glad we did. Kevin Taylor was very helpful to us, in making the right choices for the funeral. Kevin listened and understood what the family wanted or requested and carried out our every wish. Under the sad and difficult times of losing a loved one the stress and anxiety of making the many decisions for the arrangements they were made less difficult due to the professional advice and guidance given to us throughout the whole process. My mum passed away on the 5/12/22 after contacting Derek moss first point of contact was Kevin we felt at total ease with him and that our mum would be good hands ,he then arranged for us to see Stephen which would be our funeral director throughout mums funeral which was nice dealing with only one person and not several people again we felt at ease you sort of build up a relationship with each other as they get to know you and your loved one he kept in touch every day
And we have never had to organise a funeral our heads were fried we were filled with grief with the loss of our mum who had no wishes in place at the time that was the hardest thing we have ever had to do getting it right what she would have wonted we couldn’t think straight Stephen took all that stress away he organised everything if we were unsure of anything there was never pressure and give answers on the day Stephen and Kevin we’re amazing from start to finish it’s the little touches that makes the difference the compassion and love shown throughout my mums funeral from Derek moss funeral directors were second to non after having a bad experience with a another funeral directors our guard was up from day one I am so pleased we went to the best place and thats Derek moss funeral directors big thanks to Stephen and Kevin from the bottom of our hearts we are so grateful for the lovely funeral you gave my mum on 22/12/22 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️🙏 paula and paul
